Welcome!  This is the fun part. Grab a cup of tea (or a treat if you are reading this with 4 paws) and tell me all about your furry superstar. There are no wrong answers here. The more personality you share, the more magical your song will be.

Your Pet’s Essence: This is the heart of the song. What makes them them?

You're doing brilliantly! These little stories are exactly what turn a nice song into one that makes people laugh, cry or both.

The Relationship: What is it like in your household with your pet?

Very simple examples that you can build on:

  • Always fun - running with me in the backyard.

  • Sometimes Messy - leaving conspicuous paw prints everywhere while acting innocent meaning that I am now 25% detective.

  • Like a Fur-nado - hair, hair everywhere. Even the vacuum chokes. I might have to make a wig out of it one day for fun and profit.

  • Loud - sometimes the smallest of pets make the loudest of noise. I have resorted to wearing earplugs at night for the sake of sleep.

  • Full of love - asks for pets/cuddles/belly rubs as more of a demand than a polite request. I have become the cuddle slave.

  • Runs to the door to greet me - making me feel loved and missed during the day but also riddled with guilt for leavig the house.

  • Won't let me go anywhere - even the bathroom by myself, as much as I appreciate a bodyguard when I am trying to take a shower.

  • Sneaky or cheeky - likes to steal food from my plate when I am not looking then gaslights me so I think I already ate it.

  • Overly Adventurous - climbing into places that they shouldn't only to get stuck/lost and needing rescue. Guess who is the rescue party.

The Tone of the Song: How do you want the song to sound/feel?

Examples:

  • Happy

  • Sad

  • Comedic

  • Dramatic

  • Cartoonish

Or absolutely anything else that makes your pet uniquely them!

These are very simple examples but you can build on this or try a blended style - just please bear in mind that if you blend tones or styles that don't make sense or are contradictory, the song may sound just as nonsensical or unhinged. i.e. blending something cartoonish with something ethereal.

You're welcome to experiment, but if your franken-song becomes so confusing that your parrot unlearns how to talk, any replacement song would require a separate purchase.

My suggestion (for what it is worth) is maybe just pick one tone so that the outcome is more stable.

Genre of Music: What genre of music do you want the song to be?

Examples (at a high level because there are literally hundreds):

  • Pop (Mainstream, K-pop etc)

  • Rock (Classic, 80's, Heavy Metal etc)

  • Country

  • Reggae

  • Disco

Or any other music genre that you or your pet are a fan of. Something that is very on-brand for them.

You can combine genres but like I said in the previous question, make sure that you are prepared for an unpredictable outcome if you try to blend together genres that do not make sense. That said, this is your song and if you want to spin the wheel of experimentation I will support your decision -but you will need to purchase a new song if you dislike the outcome of your own experiment. Forewarned is forearmed. Or maybe some will see this as a challenge. (Might need to run some kind of contest on socials at some point to see who can come up with the most insane mix that still sounds tolerable to human and canine hearing - watch this space).

Is there a specific genre of music that you absolutely would not want to receive?

You can share up to 3 images here.

The better the photos, the better I can capture your pet's personality. Don't worry about professional photography - happy snaps are more than perfect!.🎉

May The Pet Song Creative feature your song, pet's name, story, and related materials on our website, social media, and promotional content? (Please note that you can opt out at any time).

Thank you for trusting me with your pet's story. I can't wait to bring them to life through music. ❤️
